Policies

Data policy allows you to configure the following settings:

• Set a default policy

• Set backup retention in day(s), month(s), year(s)

• Number of protected item(s) or file(s) versions

• Protected Microsoft 365 services (SLA):

  • Exchange Online Archives

  • Exchange Online Mailboxes

  • Exchange Online Calendars

  • Exchange Online Contacts

  • OneDrive for Business

  • Sharepoint Online

  • Microsoft Teams

You can also select feature settings for Exchange Online Mailbox: Backup Deleted Items Folder

If you need to add organization user(s) or site(s)to the policy go to Edit a policy chapter.

NOTE: There must always be one default policy on KODO for Cloud server. The policy named "Default Policy" is a predefined default policy and cannot be deleted, unless the administrator will create a new policy and set it as the default one.
